Connecting for Kids resource fairs are an exciting opportunity to meet professionals and learn about programs for your children, but they can also be overwhelming. This page includes some tips to help you make the most of your evening. Stop in at RegistrationWhether you have pre-registered for the event or not, when you stop in at our registration desk, you'll be able to get extra information about the event. Our registration volunteers are happy to help you locate a specific provider on the event map and parent volunteers are available to walk through the event with you. If you have a question at any time during the evening, you're welcome to stop back at the registration desk or find a volunteer in a black Connecting for Kids apron.Browse the Organization ListTake some time to look over the organization list before you come to the event and make a short list of the professionals you want to meet with. Try prioritizing professionals if you have a lot on your list so you are sure to make it in to see the ones who are most important to you.Plan Your Questions Ahead of TimeHaving a list of questions ahead of time can help you be efficient in collecting information and help you make sure you haven't forgotten anything. The Sample Questions section on the right has links to several different question lists where you can get sample question ideas. | Sample QuestionsThe following pages offer sample questions you can use to prepare for CFK resource fairs: |
