Connecting for Kids and its local partners offer a variety of
hands-on family programs throughout the year. These programs are designed for you to learn new strategies with your child, practice techniques with local experts and meet other families like yours.
Connecting for Kids Hands-On Family Programs
Family Outings (0 - 12 years): Social outings for families may include playground meet-ups, enjoying a baseball game or other opportunities (learn more).
Music Therapy and MoreSM (0-6 years): Families learn to use music to improve communication, motor skills, social skills and behavior (learn more).
Sensory Consults (18 mos - 12 years): Free 15-minute consult with an occupational therapist. Consults are offered at a different location each fall and spring (learn more).
Teach Me to PlaySM (18 mos - 6 years): Families improve play and social skills with lessons from early childhood experts (learn more).
