How has the pandemic shaped children's mental health—and what can parents do to help?
Join Rob Adams, PsyD, of Barlow & Adams Behavioral Health, for a conversation on the lasting effects of COVID-19 on kids’ anxiety, social development and emotional well-being. Designed for parents of children birth through age 12, this program will explore rising anxiety rates, shifts in social connection and how some children are struggling with social anxiety, skill delays or reduced interest in peers. Dr. Adams will share practical, developmentally appropriate strategies to support your child’s mental health, build resilience and foster meaningful connection in today’s world.
This program is for adults only and is presented in partnership with Westlake Porter Public Library and the Rotary Club of Westlake-Bay Village.
Childcare is available for this event for ages 1-12, but registration is required. Childcare is supported by a grant from GPD Employees’ Foundation.
