Share & Support: Balancing Act- How to Cope with an Uneven Mental Load

Are you the one in your household keeping track of school assignments, meal planning, managing family prescriptions and scheduling therapy appointments? Join Lisa Ruman, MSSA, LISW, CEO and Founder of The Child and Family Counseling Center of Westlake, who will discuss the exhaustive mental load that many families shoulder and some tips for how to bring more balance in the home when that burden falls unevenly on caregivers.

This interactive support group is a chance for caregivers to meet other families facing similar concerns. Parents will have the chance to learn coping tools and connect while enjoying coffee and treats.

This psychoeducational support group is for adults only and is presented in partnership with Westlake Porter Public Library and the Rotary Club of Westlake-Bay Village.

Childcare is available for this event for children ages 1-12, but registration is required.
