Join the Connecting for Kids staff to discuss the article, "Why Parenting Can Be Lonely, Even When You’re Rarely Alone.” We will explore the theme of isolation when raising a child with disabilities or mental health issues and how to build a village of support. Caregivers will have the chance to connect with other families facing similar concerns in a casual environment.
This is a psychoeducational peer support group for adults only. Register and you will be emailed information about how to join the program via Zoom. Due to grant funding, this program is open to residents of Northeast Ohio. This program is presented in partnership with United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland.
Not sure what complex needs are and if it applies to you?
We use "complex needs" as a broad term to describe families with a child who has two or more diagnoses or who requires high levels of support in their daily life. Click here for more info and examples.
