Are you stressed over keeping up with everything your family needs? Between managing summer learning, making and keeping therapy appointments, and worrying whether your child could get sick, it can all seem like too much – especially if your child is struggling too. This program, co-facilitated by Karla Fitch of Connecting for Kids and Lisa Ruman, LISW, CHt of The Child and Family Counseling Center of Westlake, will show you how flexible thinking can help you to manage stressful situations.
At this in-person program, they will walk you through three tools that can help you tap into the resilience you already have the next time a stressful situation hits. Because social distance and masks rules are changing so rapidly, we will update participants on the rules as we get closer to the date. In the event of a weather or health concern, Connecting for Kids reserves the right to move this program to virtual. This program is presented in partnership with Westlake Porter Public Library.
