This program is designed for families and their children (ages 7-12 years) who are struggling. Siblings (ages 7-12 years) may also attend, but must register separately.

What does a friend say or do? What is expected of a friend? What are some ways to make new friends? Join Ellen Spear, MA, CCC-SLP, of Lakeshore Speech Therapy, LLC, as she describes the various levels of friendship and helps elementary-aged students recognize the difference between friends and acquaintances. She will also provide strategies to help your child develop and maintain friendships and give tips for how your child can use a “friend file” so others will have positive thoughts about him or her.
