The Parking Lot Safety Awareness Program was developed to help families teach safe habits while in parking lots and driveways. The tools in the kit include:

• One Parent Guide: This short guide introduces the S.T.A.R. method for teaching parking lot safety (Stop – Touch – Attention – Ready).
• One Vehicle Magnet: The magnet is designed as a visual reminder to practice the S.T.A.R. steps and as a concrete “safe space” where children can touch the vehicle.
• Instructions for Placing Magnets on Vehicles
