Children with varying learning styles and abilities learn together in a safe, supportive environment where respect and appreciation for differences is encouraged. This storytime, followed by a time for socialization, is designed for children who may not be successful in a typical storytime experience. Content is geared toward ages 3 to 7 years, but all ages are welcome. Siblings may also attend but must register separately.
This is NOT a Connecting for Kids program; however, registration is available via our website through our partnership with the Lorain Public Library System.
Designed for children with special needs and their families, this fun and engaging music program is conducted by a board-certified music therapist from MTEC, the Music Therapy Enrichment Center. Caregivers will be given musical tools to use with their children outside of class.
Come and play a game or three. The library is the place to be to have a Dr. Seuss party! We will also be joined by the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center for a special signing story time of the Dr. Seuss book Green Eggs and Ham. Perfect for ages 3 and up.
