Kids' Race Route InformationStarting Address: Liberty Playground 6363 Selig Blvd, Independence, OH 44131 Kids' Race participants will use one of two route options. Families can use a free social story to prepare their child for either route. Route 1 starts at Kathy Lynn Drive and goes west 100 meters to finish at the Kiwanis Pavilion. Route 2 is shorter, with a 50-foot dash from the center of the parking lot toward the pavilion. NOTE: For safety reasons, there will be no parking in the civic center lot during the event. |
ROUTE 1WHO: Children who walk/run without a mobility assistance device and wheelchair users LENGTH: 100 meters | ROUTE 2WHO: Children using mobility assistance devices (gait trainers, reciprocating gait orthosis (RGO), walkers, etc.) LENGTH: 50 feet |
