Outing: Sk8-Ability: Adapted Skateboarding

Join Sk8-Ability, Advocate Skateworks, Youth Challenge, GiGi’s Playhouse and Connecting for Kids for this pilot skateboarding program for children with disabilities.

Participants will be paired with an experienced skateboard counselor and a student volunteer who will help to adapt and support a skateboarding experience that fosters motor skills, sensory regulation, social skills, and self-confidence.

For children ages 7-14. No experience with skateboarding or equipment is needed. Skateboards and protective gear will be provided for the event.
