Dr. Ross W. Greene’s ground-breaking book, "The Explosive Child," has become a model for helping families to overcome their child's challenging behavior. Join Karla Fitch, MTSC, of Connecting for Kids, for this six-week, peer-led book club that begins with an in-person session and then meets virtually to explore the book together. Each week, we'll discuss different sections of the book and support each other as we learn to use collaborative and proactive problem-solving with our children. Families who commit to participating in this book club can check out a copy of the book from Westlake Porter Public Library at the first session.
This is a psychoeducational peer support group. For information on social distancing and masking policies, please refer to our Health & Safety page. This program is for adults only and will not be recorded.
Presented in partnership with Westlake Porter Public Library and the Rotary Club of Westlake-Bay Village.
Childcare is available for this event, but registration is required.
