CFK Virtual Coffee and Chat - How to Stay Calm when the Kids are Out of Control

  • 24 Mar 2020

Have you wanted to attend our Coffee and Chat support groups but are unable to get out of the house? Or, your busy work or kids’ activities schedule doesn’t allow for a night away? CFK will be hosting a “virtual” Coffee and Chat live on Facebook. You will be able to watch from the comfort of your home and even be able to post questions for our facilitators Lisa Ruman, LISW, CHt, and Kristin Swihart, LISW-S, of The Child & Family Counseling Center of Westlake. We will be addressing one of our most popular topics, how to stay calm even when you are angry or frustrated by your child’s behaviors. You will learn six techniques to help you stay calm in the face of adversity. The article we will be discussing is "Remaining Calm in the Face of Chaos".

Connecting for Kids staff will also be part of this live event to share resources and answer your questions as well. This event is open to all and will be live on the CFK main Facebook page. Registration is preferred.

Our Coffee and Chat is an interactive support group for families ages 0-12.
