Social relationships are complex – and tricky to teach. Reading social cues like facial expressions, engaging and working with others, and knowing how to respond when things don’t go as we expect are all critical skills that parents, teachers, and therapists struggle to teach. YouTube can provide lots of engaging and effective material, says Anna Vagin, Ph.D., an expert in ADHD and autism spectrum disorder.
