Scope

When you allow text messages from Connecting for Kids, you grant permission for Connecting for Kids (CFK) staff to send text messages for the following purposes:

• Informational messages (for example, "welcome to Connecting for Kids")
• Confirmation of program registration
• Follow-up on a question or concern

The text messages you receive will come from a registered CFK phone number. Currently, CFK phone numbers that may be used for texting include: 440-570-5908, 440-907-9129, or 440-907-9130

Frequency

The interactions you have with CFK will determine the number of text messages you may receive. Families who request additional follow-up, who register for multiple programs, or who choose to continue conversations with a Family Resource Specialist via text can expect to have more text messages per month.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of text messaging at any time. To opt out, simply text your family name and the word STOP to 440-570-5908.

Mobile Charges

You may incur additional charges from your wireless provider when receiving text messages from CFK. You agree that you are solely responsible for any such charges.

Confidentiality

All text messages exchanged with CFK will be held strictly confidential. Furthermore, all text message history will be cleared from CFK-owned devices once the conversation thread has concluded. You may also request that history be deleted at any time during the conversation.

Text messaging users should be aware that confidential information communicated via text remains in your device's history as well. CFK shall not be held responsible if a third party encounters that information while accessing your device.
