This list identifies local and national organizations that provide resources and support for individuals with attention issues.

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD)
CHADD, also known as The National Resource Center on ADHD, is a nonprofit organization providing education, advocacy and support for individuals with ADHD.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - Cleveland/Lorain
Local affiliate of NAMI providing support and information on ADHD especially as it relates to comorbid mental illness, such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and bipolar disorder.

Greater Cleveland Chapter
Lorain County Chapter

National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD)
Provides information about ADHD and how it can interfere with learning and behavior. NCLD also provides practical information on ADHD as well as information on learning disorders that may be comorbid with ADHD through its Understood web portal. For more information on this resource, see websites.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
Agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities.
