Description of Presentation

Curran discusses how to develop in-home instruction tools for your child to have success in routines at home such as morning routine, bed time, meal time, bathroom and preparing for a community outing such as a grocery store, birthday party and play dates.

Primary Learning Objectives:
  1. Understanding the effectiveness of ritual and routine on decreasing behaviors.
  2. Encouraging your child to participate in day-to-day home activities.
  3. Supporting your child in understanding that there are expectations/rules.
  4. Establishing ritual and routine through the use of visual supports.
