Description of Presentation

Does your child listen to what you say? Does he/she throw long tantrums? Do you have issues with hitting, biting or other issues?

The tools and strategies taught in this class helped parents learn how to analyze why behaviors are happening and prevent them, all in a positive reinforcement model. The first part of the lecture series focused on teaching parents the tools to analyze the causes of their children's behaviors and simple strategies to prevent them. The second part assumed parents applied the lessons from the first lecture and took the discussion to a deeper level to work on "what worked/what didn't."
