Meet with local pediatric experts to discuss different topics each month. The presentations are geared toward parents/caregivers and filled with practical advice and we always leave time for you to ask your questions and to brainstorm with other parents facing similar issues.

This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested (choose from dates/times below). Child care available on a limited basis with child care RSVP. Translation is also available with RSVP. 

Note: We are able to accommodate children with special concerns in our child care area. If you have a question about how we would help your child feel comfortable, please contact us at info@connectingforkids.org

    Join Ellen Spear, MA CCC-SLP, Lakeshore Speech Therapy in this interactive presentation about how to tempt your preschooler to talk!  This presentation if filled with take-home ideas that will tempt your child to use his/her words.


    Target Age Group: Parents of Toddlers and Preschoolers (2 to 5). Parents do not need a formal diagnosis of their child to attend but the session is geared toward children behind in speech.

    The event is free and open to the public. 

    Bagels will be provided by Bruegger's Bagels!

    Join Vanessa Jensen, Psy.D, Cleveland Clinic in this interactive presentation about gender identity in children. Come with your questions and concerns and Dr. Jensen will share the latest research and discuss resources for families.
