Does your child meltdown, withdraw or stop paying attention? Could it be sensory issues?

With Paula Michaud, OTR/L, of the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities

Presented: 2014

Description of Presentation

Sensory issues can take many different forms in children. For some children, sensory issues can cause meltdowns. In other children, it will cause the child to withdraw from social encounters or groups. Some children's attention issues are caused by Sensory Issues and not ADHD.

This presentation addresses the different sensory inputs and how out-of-sync sensory input can result in behavior problems.
